KTH Library - Policy for personal data

When contacting us by chat message you approve that KTH Library stores the following information about you:

• The name you provide
• The email address you provide
• Your IP address
• Any other personal information you specify in your message

By contacting us in this way you also give your consent to:

• KTH Library storing the above information about you for a maximum of 90 days.
• KTH Library storing and using your provided email address in accordance with Swedish law.
• KTH Library having the right to contact you using the email address you provide.
• KTH Library having the right to use your name and email address, but only for internal usage, to search in existing private databases (such as our own customer service system or other internal databases)
• KTH Library will never sell or otherwise disseminate your email address to third parties beyond what is stated in this policy, without your written consent. However, your message may constitute public documents under the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009: 400), which means that your email address may then be released to a third party upon request.
